Talladega Superspeedway, April 2011

We are regular attenders of races at Talladega Superspeedway and have always enjoyed the heart pounding, breathtaking action of 43 cars racing in a pack at close to 200 mph. The race this year featured tandem racing with two cars 'hooked' together to get maximum speed and maneuverability. The two drivers, spotters and crew chiefs communicated via radio resulting in an orchestrated weaving around and amongst the other drivers. The exhilarating finish resulted in a Jimmie Johnson win due to Dale Earnhardt Jr's pushing.
