Christmas Stockings for NASCAR Friends

I like to make Christmas stockings and ornaments. I have made 2 or 3 for each family member and their spouses or significant others. After all that I needed a different set of folks for whom to make stockings. To show appreciation for kindnesses or to show my gratitude for their friendship I have made some for NASCAR friends.

The original of this design had the cat on Santa's lap. I made a quilt in NASCAR colors instead and added the checkered flag. The tree ornaments were changed to Sprint colors. The little package at the stocking toe has a "to 5x" tag.

The original of this is a Disney Cars Lightning McQueen kit. Substituted one of the cactus for a scoreboard. Hard to see but the driver standings has 48 at the top. The name Jeff is with brads that look like screws. Had to change the numbers from 95 to Christmas 25. The splitter also had to be added.

Tried to make this look like the mountains around Bristol and added the track name.

Same with the mountains around Martinsville. Could not figure out how to add the train tracks or a grandfather clock.

This kit originally had Santa holding the world on the ornament. Made this for a little boy who is a Joey Logano fan. Hope his grandmother figured out how to change that to a 22.

Could not find pictures of just the stockings but this is even better.

Tried to incorporate the PRN logo with this one.

Made with NASCAR colors.
